Miele Quality Construction

Manufactured in Germany, Miele commercial laundry and Wet Cleaning systems reflect the impeccable craftsmanship and engineering for which the country is world-renowned. You need only look at a piece of Miele equipment to instantly understand that it is of the highest quality. But closer inspection makes it even more apparent.

Structural Integrity
  • 304 grade stainless steel front for maximum durability
  • 316 grade stainless steel outer drum
  • Mirror polished 304 grade stainless steel HoneycombTM inner drum

Soft Mount

The drum in the Miele soft mount washer is attached to the machine base with springs and shock absorbers. This allows the base to remain stationary even while the drum is spinning at exceptionally high speeds. For the cleaner this offers a number of benefits, including:
  • Quick and simple installation. No costly special flooring is required.
  • Due to the spring action of the soft mount the drum is capable of higher spin speeds. Higher spin speed means less residual moisture and shorter drying time.
  • By isolating the drum with springs, soft mounted machines typically last longer than hard mounts. Miele machines are designed to have a 30,000-hour life span!

Dispensing Technology

While proper detergent dispensing is important for wet washing, it is absolutely critical for successful wet cleaning. Between the standard dispenser and the optional liquid detergent pumps Miele washers can meet the full range of wet washing and wet cleaning applications.
  • The Profitronic M Control automatically directs the dispensing sequence according to the selected program. If desired, the cleaner can customize both the dispensing sequence and quantity dispensed.
  • Standard four-compartment facia dispenser for two powders and two liquids.
  • Optional liquid detergent pumps precisely dispense the proper concentration of detergent and additives, reducing staff workload and chemical costs.
  • A low detergent level monitor automatically stops the machine before detergent runs out, protecting clothes from damage due to inaccurate detergent concentration.

High Capacity Drain Valve

While some may view a drain valve as a rather ordinary and unimportant component, to Miele it is one more machine part worthy of optimization.
  • Drainage is fast and unimpeded via a high capacity drain valve.
  • The drain valve is mounted directly on the washbasin, ensuring that the detergent dissolves properly, while reducing water levels and energy consumption.
  • The drain valve has no sharp edges to trap fluff or lint.
