Design Highlights in Commercial Laundry Technology

Always at the forefront of design for performance, Miele commercial laundry and Wet Cleaning equipment sets the standard for professional garment care. Research and development efforts on the drawing board, in the factory and at commercial laundry facilities are incorporated to create equipment that is durable, easy to operate and performs without parallel.

The Operator Experience

Ease of use and operator acceptance is critical for getting the most benefit out of a piece of equipment. Careful consideration has gone into the operator experience resulting in a machine that provides maximum benefit with minimal operator effort.
  • Profitronic Control program selector to take the guesswork out of choosing cycles
  • Large 4-line display for highly visible, informative operator feedback
  • Audible alarm to notify operator of program conclusion
  • Large door with 140 degree opening angle for convenient loading and unloading-even of large, bulky items.

The Garment Care Process

Proper design dictates that the ultimate measure of success be performance. For Miele commercial laundry and Wet Cleaning systems this is defined by both the cleaning result and the actual condition of the garment.
  • Miele's Honeycomb™ stainless steel drum guarantees the best possible textile care, especially for sensitive fabrics.
  • Frequency drive motor to ensure proper mechanical action, including:
    1. Extremely slow rotation coupled with timed soaking during the wetting process to thoroughly saturate the load
    2. Interval spinning for effective water evacuation of membrane items and leather garments
    3. Precise load balance monitoring to wash all garments evenly
    4. Variable spin speeds up to 1200 rpm
    5. High g-force of 450 for low residual moisture and minimal drying time
